Gregg's Inc was established in 1973 by John M. Umile. We are primarily a multicultural, full service beauty supply distributor selling exclusive and non-exclusive salon brand beauty and nail supplies to Beauty Salons, Spas, Cosmetology Schools & Stylists. Additionally, we import and market Italian hair care products to other distributors across the United States.

Our extraordinary success and continuing expansion is directly attributable to our business model of combining superior products with outstanding customer service. Additionally, our on-going Top Quality Education Programs make Gregg’s an indispensable part of any Salon Owner’s management team. By combining low prices with superior quality hair coloring products, Salon Owners and Stylists are able to earn high profit margins while delivering exceptional results for their clients.

Gregg’s Salon Services represents professional salon brand names such as Scruples, Trionics, Light Elegance, Iden, Hair U Wear (Jessica Simpson & Raquel Welch), HAI, La Braziliana Keratin Treatments,  and Fama. We market these brands through our outside sales division, telemarketing, our Cash & Carry Store, our website and mail order.

Gregg’s Beauty & Nail Supply is our retail facility attached to our main wholesale distribution warehouse in Linden, NJ. Customers are able to choose from a wide variety of beauty supplies including cosmetics, colognes, hair care products, wigs and hair additions. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday Noon to 5:00 PM. Please remember that for the safety of our retail customers some of our products are only sold to licensed professionals.

Company president, John M. Umile, has been an industry leader and innovator for over 35 years. He has served on the board of directors of many industry trade organizations, authored articles in trade publications and has been honored by his peers on numerous occasions. Mr. Umile personally lectures in numerous cosmetology vocational high schools, private cosmetology institutions, beauty salons and spas in an effort to advance the careers of stylists, salon owners and cosmetology school teachers while simultaneously providing on-going education to his customers.
